I’ve been waiting for this card! There was a rumor about this guy when some Planechase leaks occurred about a week ago, but now we have confirmation. I think this card might actually be Legacy playable. It feels like a bit of a sleeper.

Looks like Planechase previews started a little early.
Krond the Dawn-Clad is in my favorite color combination. I’m not sure if it’s better than Uril, the Miststalker, but it sure does have a powerful effect. I could see this being a fun commander.
Vela the Night-Clad seems like an awesome EDH commander. There are plenty of creatures that can abuse Vela’s ability and sap the life out of all of your opponent’s very very quickly.

The first (definite) spoiler since the the announce of the upcoming Planechase 2012 is here! We’ve got Stairs of Infinity, from the plane of Xerex. It seems like that when this is active, whoever’s turn it is will be able to draw quite a few cards before we planeswalk away.
There are a few other spoilers, but they’re more rumors than anything else. The first is a card that costs 1GU, and is a 2/2 with cascade. Next is a Manalith that can also tap to roll the planar die. Last up, we’ve got a 1/1 artifact creature with flying and deathtouch that draws you card when it enters the battlefield for a casting cost of just UB.
The official previews should start next Monday, so get ready!
