So, tumblr, I was contemplating Valentine’s Day and wondering what everyone’s plans were for it when I realized how many Magic cards have the word “heart” in them.
Then, my mind ran off with this….
Before Valentine’s day, many
s, young and old go on the timeless
. They search…
This is cute for any time of year

AND for no reason at all and out of no where, another spoiled card!
Markov Blademaster has the sick-ass beats. I’m liking this at 3 mana. Vampires are gonna get fuuuuun.
“Mortals practice swordplay for a few decades at best. How can they ever attain the exquisite mastery that eternity has to offer?”
I don’t think this is Standard playable. Even Mirran Crusader is seeing less play these days, and this guy seems a lot worse. I suppose it could work out well in vampire tribal decks, but I wouldn’t expect too much. Still, if it can beat in once, it can become pretty crazy.

In case you can’t read German (and I can’t either so I don’t blame you), this little puppy reads:
Chant of Skiffsingers
Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature.
Enchanted creature gets -13/-0
The skifsang, seafarers of Nephalia, craft spells like other sailors craft nets - making them strong enough to snare even the deadliest catch.
Chant of Skiffsingers is pretty cool for Limited. It can basically remove any combat threat, even big things like Ludevic’s Test Subject. Still, Sensory Depravation and Claustrophobia are better most of the time.

Flayer of the Hatebound.
So, this guy turns “Undying” into an offensive ability. “Yeah sure kill my creatures, it will only hurt you in the end anyway”.
I can see a lot of decks forming around this guy, only I’m unsure what secondary colour you’d go for… Green? Black? Blue to combine with flashback?
6 mana is steep, but Flayer of the Hatebound is pretty sweat. You get a 4/2, then a 5/3 that hits for a Lava Axe. It’s awesome in multiples, or with any other undying creature.

My bad, actually there’s SIX new cards spoiled.
Grafdigger’s Cage is going to turn heads. Money card? Be saving those.
Hellrider is going to be great for red. Game-winner there.
Predatory Ooze is ridiculously neat and fun. Indestructible? Yeahhhhh. He turns into a green fatty in no time. Note that the damage doesn’t HAVE to be combat damage.
Warden of the Wall is a neat but not ridiculously exciting card.
Feed the Pack is fun-looking. Green’s getting some neat stuff this time around.
AAAAAAND
Deadly Allure is probably my favorite. The DailyMTG article said not to build around it, which I wouldn’t, but in draft there’s no way I’d NOT include it in my deck.
Always draft removal, a wise man once told me.
That man was my boss.
He was right.
I’m going to go drool over these cards some more. Leave your opinions as replies or as questions/comments in my ask box! ;D

Those spoilers are all pretty cool and flavorful.
Deadly Allure is a pretty awesome card. I love the cycle of off-color flashback cards in Innistrad, and I’m happy to see them returning. I think all of the cards in DKA will be opposite colors of their ISD counterparts (for example, Allure is black with green flashback and Spider Spawning is green with black flashback). Deadly Allure might make it in Standard, but I think it’s really going to shine with undying cards in Limited.
Feed the Pack is a fun card, but it’s not for constructed play. For 6 mana, I could play something that just wins me the game on its own.
I think Grafdigger’s Cage is a bit overrated. Everyone is saying that it’s the death of Dredge and Reanimator, but it might not even be better than Relic of Progenitus or Tormod’s Crypt. The Cage can be removed, and the Dredge player is just as well off as if no hate cards were played, but if he tries to remove the Relic, his whole graveyard is gone, and he starts at square one. It could be good for Standard against something like Burning Vengeance or Unburial Rites, but those decks will have plenty of ways to get rid of it. I’m not saying that it won’t have its uses, but it’s not as amazing as everyone thinks.
Hellrider could very well be a great card once SOM rotates, but until then I’ll stick with my Hero of Oxid Ridge, Koth, or Falkenrath Aristocrat.
Predator Ooze is pretty cool. He can attack all day and not die to black or red removal. I don’t really think it will make big waves in Standard, and there’s not really any comprable cards that I know of. It does look like a lot of fun though.
Warden of the Wall is a solid card in Limited. It provides mana or provides a blocker. I suppose that’s pretty versatile.

“For centuries my creation kept this world in balance. Now only her shadow remains.”
-Sorin MarkovWell, I know what land card is going to make a heavy appearance in Black/White decks… I actually like this a lot. Deathtouch AND Lifelink? Oh hey, I’m just going to make every creature you have a basic Wurmcoil Engine. NBD.
This is pretty awesome. I’ve heard a lot of people saying that BW Tokens with Sorin could replace GW Tokens in Standard, and this card would be great for replacing Gavony Township. In a matchup between BW and GW Tokens, this land would be huge, as it would make the size of your opponent’s creatures not really matter at all.
This also looks like it means similar lands of all the enemy colors. I’m really pulling for the UG or UR utility land to be something awesome. A good GB or GU one could push WRR into a new type of archetype too.

Beguiler of Wills
I don’t get Beguiler of Wills. She costs 5, doesn’t have an immediate effect on the board, and only helps you if you’re already in decent shape. Oh, and it dies to Gut Shot. Compared to Olivia Voldraen or even Havengul Lich, this card is awful. I guess it could be used in EDH, but EDH usually sees so many board wipes or Homeward Paths to make this card unplayable.

My mind is thoroughly blown.
I’m going to put this together on Lackey. I think there are a few cards this player is missing (Kor Haven, Words of Worship, and obviously lands), but he did pretty amazingly for a budget Legacy deck. Gotta love the guy who beats you with his turn 1 Terramorphic Expanse.

I am a teacher in a middle school, and today I taught my students about Comics and Graphic novels. This was the comic that I drew for them as an example.
Do I win the “Coolest Teacher Ever” award?
